The Naples Orchid Society’s monthly meeting was held May 2nd. The best hybrid and the best species orchids were given gold ribbons. The special hybrid award was given to Tolumnia Robson ‘Orchid World’ AM/AOS owned by Dick Pippen. The special species award was given to Trichoglottis faciata owned by David Scott.
April 11, 2013 Monthly Meeting Special Hybrid and Special Specie Awards
The Naples Orchid Society’s monthly meeting was held April 11th. The best hybrid and the best species orchids were given gold ribbons. The special hybrid award was given to Dtps. Little Gem Stripes owned by Corrie Van Caulil. The special species award was given to Ascocentrum ampullaceum owned by Kris Morton.
March 7, 2013 Monthly Meeting Special Hybrid and Special Specie Awards
The Naples Orchid Society’s monthly meeting was held March 7th. The best hybrid and the best species orchids were given gold ribbons. The special hybrid award was given to Cattleya Crownfox Sweetheart ‘Paradise’ owned by Eunice Walker. The special species award was given to Ludisia discolor ‘Jewel’ owned by Corrie Van Caulil.

The Naples Orchid Society’s monthly meeting was held February 7th. The best hybrid and the best species orchids were given gold ribbons. The special hybrid award was given to Ascda. Yea Ya Gek Be (Lavender Lady) owned Debbie Starrett. The special species award was given to Tolu. variegata owned by David Genevese.

Mezzapella ‘Patty’s Joy’ AM/AOS owned by David Genevese. The special species award was given to Gongora flaveola also owned by David Genevese.

The Naples Orchid Society’s monthly meeting was held November 1st. The best hybrid and the best species orchids were given gold ribbons. The special hybrid award was given to Phragmipedium Sorcerer’s Apprentice owned by Ralph Brand. The special species award was given to Bulbophyllum fascinator owned by Marilyn Moser.
October 2012 Special Hybrid Award and Special Species Award
The Naples Orchid Society’s monthly meeting was held October 4. The best hybrid and the best species orchids were given Gold Ribbons. The Special Hybrid Award was given to Ascda. Motes Burning Sands owned by Lola Monesko. The Special Species Award was given to Rhyncolaelia digbyana owned by Eunice Walker.
September 2012 Special Hybrid Award and Special Species Award
The Naples Orchid Society’s monthly meeting was held September 6. The best hybrid and best species orchids were given Gold Ribbons. The Special Hybrid Award was given to Potinara Egyptian Queen ‘Black Diamond’ owned by Ralph Brand. The Special Species Award was given to Trichoglottis brachiata owned by Jose Davila.
August 2012 Special Hybrid Award and Special Species Award
The Naples Orchid Society’s monthly meeting was held August 2. The best hybrid and best species orchids were given Gold Ribbons. The Special Hybrid Award was given to Christierara Dodie Briskey owned by Kim Pendleton. The Special Species Award was given to Miltonia spectabilis var. moreliana owned by Jose Davila.

The Naples Orchid Society’s monthly meeting was held July 5. The best hybrid and best species orchids were given Gold Ribbons. The Special Hybrid Award was given to Lc. Loog Tone ‘African Beauty’ AM/AOS owned by Eunice Walker. The Special Species Award was given to Dendrobium secundum owned by Jose Davila.
June 2012 Special Hybrid Award and Special Species Award
At the June 2012 meeting of the Naples Orchid Society, gold ribbons were given out to the Special Hybrid Award and the Special Species Award. The Gold Ribbon for the special hybrid award went to Ted Moore for his cattleya, Lc. Mishima Luster ‘Jean’. The Gold Ribbon for the special species award went to Joylett Davis for her grammatophyllum, Grammatophyllym stapeliflorum.
May 2012 Special Hybrid Award and Special Species Award
At the May 2012 meeting of the Naples Orchid Society, gold ribbons were given out to the Special Hybrid Award and Special Species Award orchid plants. The winner of the Special Hybrid Award was Lola Monesko for her orchid Ascda. Memorial Louis Hatas, and the winner of the Special Species Award was R. Wilma Swann for her orchid Encyclia bractescens.
