NOS Meetings are held the 1st Thursday of each month at The Moorings Presbyterian Church, located at at 791 Harbour Dr, Naples. Harbour Drive is located on the west side of US 41 about 1/2 mile north of the Coastland Center Mall (see map below).
General meeting format is as follows:
- Flower Registration – 6:30 p.m.
- Flower Judging – 7:10 p.m.
- Meeting – 7:30 p.m.
- Program – 7:45 p.m.

March Meeting
The March meeting will be held March 1, 2012. The meeting will be preparing members for our annual orchid show later in the month of March on the 16th, 17th, and 18th. Demonstrations will be given to instruct members on table top exhibits, container exhibits, cut flower exhibits, how to show individual plants, and how to complete the registration forms for all entries.
January 5, 2012 Meeting – Special Hybrid Award and Special Species Award
At the January meeting, the gold ribbon winners in the monthly orchid judging were Steve Hall and Wilma Swan. Steve Hall won the Special Hybrid Award for his plant Ascda. Nicole Eaton, and Wilma Swan won the Special Species Award for her plant Encyclia cochleata.
April Meeting
The April meeting will be April 5th and will be our Empty Pots meeting. Bare root orchids, pots, media, and clips will be provided for $10 for members. Demonstrations will be provided to show members how to pot orchids. More information will be posted later.
